5 Frequently Asked Questions About Wrestling Camps Answered
Whether you’ve been attending one of our U.S. Wrestling Camps for years or this summer will be your first time, there are always questions that come up along the way. It’s natural! We want to ensure that every question or concern prior to camp starting is answered to the best of our ability.
In order to streamline the process as much as possible, we have an entire page dedicated to some of the most frequently asked questions we get each year. Here are five that may be on your mind right now:
Q: What are the U.S. Wrestling Camps?
A: They were developed to provide campers with the opportunity to become better and more complete wrestlers. All phases of the sport will be covered, allowing the athletes in attendance to learn, develop and enhance the skills they already possess.
Our goal is to provide all of this in a fun environment, which is accomplished through great coaching and healthy competition.
Q: What are the ages and skills levels of wrestlers that attend?
A: U.S. Wrestling Camps are offered to athletes aged from 8-14 and they’re designed to accommodate wrestlers of all skills levels. So, it doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or a top high school wrestler – we’re ready to help you accomplish whatever your goals are for the camp!
Q: What is the camper-to-coach ratio?
A: To ensure that each camper gets exactly what they need in order to improve by the time they check out, we’re dedicated toward keeping a low camper-to-coach ratio of 8-to-1. Keeping it this low allows the staff to provide personal attention to everyone, along with giving the best coaching and assistance as possible.
Q: Where do the wrestling instructors come from?
A: We pride ourselves of bringing in the best that we can find in the sport, and ensure that they have experience coaching the particular age group detailed above. The experience can range from being a top college coach, high school coach, or even a current collegiate wrestler.
What makes U.S. Wrestling Camps different from everyone else is the dedication and quality of our instructors, and making sure every single camper walks away with making an improvement.
Q: Alright, I’m in…but how do I sign up?
A: We offer four different ways to register for a wrestling camp this summer: by calling us on the phone, sending over a fax, via US Mail or right here online via our secure website.
The easiest option of the four is by registering online. It enables you to get a more immediate confirmation with regard to your spot and payment for the camp.
Did these questions and answers help? We hope so! There are five more questions we get rather often on our Frequently Asked Questions page, so be sure to check it out! If you have a question that hasn’t been covered, please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask us yourself. We want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible before camp gets underway.
